My final studio began with a weeklong trip to St. Croix in January 2013. During the visit, our class visited various ecological, cultural and historical sites. This immersive experience allowed me to develop a deeper appreciation of the essence of the island and its residents. Two of the sites we visited, South Gate Coastal Reserve and Salt River Bay National Park, were used as locations for two of our site design projects.
